I've tried to have a good relationship with both my parents all these years and despite the fact that i occasionally don't get along with them, that's totally OK because we're a normal family.

About death, i believe that people can be categorized into "Gems" and "Non-gems". Gems, and their subcategories, when they die, we feel very depressed because of their very special place and "irreplacibility" (It's usually very difficult to find such people). And about "Non-gems", we don't get depressed when they die because we can find likes of them again in our lives.

And finally about art, painting and embroidery are my hobbies (I have shared photos and videos of my pieces to my family and friends, and they've admired my style because it's unique, but because i haven't shown them to others, i know nothing about their opinions. Like you said, it's as if i'm waiting for a permission to show them in a gallery. Oh, about embroidery, it hasn't been long since i've restarted doing it).

Sounds like maybe you could start putting your art into the world in 2025!

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. Have a great holiday!

Although i've already shared my paintings here on Substack (You can see my Notes under "Activity" section on my profile, i feel that's not enough for me. I'll definitely think about finding a gallery to display my paintings). My holidays start in March, actually (I'm living in Iran and my New Year activities start almost at the end of March).

This touched me so deeply you can't imagine! I lost my adult son 3 months ago and it has taken my poetry in a very dark direction but I'm sharing it anyway because I know there are others out there who are in this dark place as well, and like my mom use to say, "Misery loves company." I love your idea of sharing our art anywhere possible. It opens up a whole new idea of getting it out there. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

Carrie I’m so sorry for your loss!

But yessssss… print out your poetry and leave it places. Experiment with font size, or paper color… it’s all magic and art, and you just NEVER KNOW who might need to find it!
