Just yesterday, after finishing my book manuscript, I wrote out my plan for the remainder of the year that feels sustainable and joy-filled—a huge part of was to do one long essay per month instead of every week. I’m getting missives of email replies to my essays which tells me people want to share their stories, have deeper conversations and really delve into the nuances … I want to honor that, spend time nurturing those relationships and give myself and my subscribers time to breathe between these intensely personal essays. All of this to say: thank you for validating that decision. Now off to downtown for a scoop of ice cream 🥰

I want that ice cream haha.

Oh my goodness, YESSSS. But most importantly - what flavor of ice cream?

Dark chocolate and salted butterscotch and they love me so I get googly eyes

Just what I needed to read today. I've been feeling the strain of a schedule I've committed myself to. What are your thoughts on an irregular posting schedule?

Seth Werkheiser's avatar

No one thinks about your posting schedule more than you. If you've got paid subscribers who DEPEND on your stock market tips every Monday at 7am, then I'd say you need to stick to it. Or Mario from The Morning Shakeout newsletter - everyday Tuesday for almost TEN YEARS. Sure, stick to that schedule! But I think we can all give ourselves some freedom. I used to send on Mondays. Now I do group Zoom calls on Mondays, so I started sending on Tuesdays. No explanation. No heads up. That's just how it is now! hahah
